Portland, Oregon
[ ]The Pearl District
Fine restaurants, expensive boutiques, and a beautiful atmosphere are just a sample of the things you will find in the Pearl District. Renowned for its allure (and expensiveness) the Pearl District is the perfect place to unwind and treat yourself.

[ ]Oregon Zoo
Trek through the tropics amid the sounds of birds, monkeys and other creatures. You’re not in West Africa; you’re in Portland at the zoo’s African Rain Forest exhibit. After you’ve survived the steamy tropics, dry off in the savanna, where giraffes, rhinos and hippos graze. From the tundras of Alaska to the coastal waters of Peru, travel around the world in an afternoon. Additionally, the Zoo is an ideal place to meet with others if your business is of a secret nature.

[ ]The Grotto
A peaceful oasis in the midst of the city, the Grotto is set among 62 acres of gardens. The Grotto offers a place of peace and quiet reflection for all people. More than 100 beautifully sculpted statues and shrines are nestled among flower-lined pathways winding under towering firs. Peaceful reflection ponds, spectacular cliff-side vistas and lovely architecture offer inspiration for all who visit this natural gallery in the woods. At night, the Grotto lights up with a thousand fireflies, wonderfully romantic.

[ ]Rundown Northside
This is not a place where one wants to go wandering alone. The premier ghetto of Portland, beggars will stab you for five dollars. Untrained seers who have gone mad tend to find their way here, and the alleys are noisy with the sound of the crazy muttering to themselves in an eerie chorus.

Countryside
[ ]Forest Park
Over 5,000 acres in area, the Forest Park is majestic in the simple fact it is the largest park in the United States. This is a sanctuary for hikers, mountain-climbers, bikers, and skiers, as the Forest Park pretty much has it all within its acreage.

[ ]Mt. Hood Winter Resort and Park
The Mt. Hood Park offers more than 20 mountain adventures: scenic sky-chair rides with panoramic views; interpretive and mountain biking trails; the Northwest’s only half-mile, dual-alpine slide; Indy karts; guided horseback rides; and free-fall and reverse bungee jumping. For winter fun, the Resort features 65 day ski runs, 300 acres of outback terrain and America’s largest night ski area, with 34 lighted runs. Other things to do include kiddy snowmobiles, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow tubing and a 500-foot-long aerial zipline. For the adventurer or thrill seeker, this is the place to go.

[ ]Columbia River Gorge
The Gorge features numerous remarkable waterfalls, most notably Multnomah Falls, the second-highest continuously running waterfall in the country. There are hiking trails abound near the western Gorge's falls and throughout its fern- and wildflower-filled temperate rainforest. This scenic adventure spot is highlighted by the river running at its base, a spot for serious white-water rafters and (in calmer waters) kayakers. Just don’t fall off the edge…

[ ]Quaint Cottages
Here are all the homes of the Weir and Anaweir. This neighborhood has very similar style homes, set in the picturesque countryside of Portland.
